What are Skin Peels

Skin peels are used on fine lines, acne, wrinkles, age spots and skin discoloration. • Stop all exfoliants (for example vitamin C, glycolic acid, retinol and salicylic acid) 12 days before.
• Stop topical prescriptions two weeks before, and review them with your technician.
• Let us know beforehand if you take any oral medication that dries the skin.

After your appointment

• Avoid all exfoliants for 12 days.
• Avoid high heat, such as saunas and steam rooms, for 7 days.
• Avoid drying skin products for 7 days.

What you may notice

• Everyone’s skin reacts differently, and we go over what to expect for your skin at your consult.
• Mild, temporary flushing after the treatment is normal.
• If your pores are congested, your skin may purge for a short time as it clears.
• If your skin is dry before the appointment, you may have some mild peeling.
